20. Charles Leclerc DNF Ferrari

Charles Leclerc couldn’t get into Q2 in his home-race, he stayed in the pit-lane when he dropped back to place sixteen. So he started sixteenth. He had a good start and made a nice move on Grosjean. But then at lap 9 he tried to overtake Hülkenberg at the same turn as Grosjean but he hit the barrier with his right-rear wheel and got a puncture. He dropped back to the last place, he made a pit-stop but after that he had to retire because he had too much damage.

19. Antonio Giovinazzi Alfa Romeo

Antonio Giovinazzi didn’t have a really good weekend in Monaco. He qualified fifteenth. He didn’t have a good start and dropped back to the nineteenth place. Then at lap 16 he collided with Kubica at Rascasse, they caused a blockage. Giovinazzi got a 10-seconds penalty for this. Things didn’t get any better from there and he finished nineteenth.

18. Robert Kubica Williams

Robert Kubica qualified last, but in the race it went a bit better. In the race he collided with Giovinazzi, but he stayed in front of him and finished eighteenth.

17. Kimi Räikkönen Alfa Romeo

It wasn’t a good weekend for Alfa Romeo, Kimi Räikkönen missed out on Q3 and qualified fourteenth. He had some battles with Stroll in the race, but he finished seventeenth.

16. Lance Stroll Racing Point

Lance Stroll didn’t make it into Q2 for the tenth time in a row. He qualified eighteenth. Another disappointing qualifying for him. In the race he had a few battles with Räikkönen and got a 5-second penalty. He finished sixteenth.

15. George Russell Williams

George Russell out-qualified his team-mate for the sixth time in a row this season. In the race he did a great job and finished in front of the Alfa’s, his team-mate and the Racing Point of Lance Stroll. A good weekend for him.

14. Kevin Magnussen Haas

Kevin Magnussen had a really good qualification in Monaco, he qualified sixth and started fifth because of the penalty from Gasly. But in the race in didn’t went well for Magnussen. He lost some time at the safety-car period. But couldn’t get back into the points.

13. Nico Hülkenberg Renault

Nico Hülkenberg qualified eleventh. In the race Leclerc tried to overtake him at Rascasse, they collided and Hülkenberg got a puncture and points were out of reach. He finished thirteenth.

12. Sergio Pérez Racing Point

Sergio Pérez didn’t have a good qualifying and qualified seventeenth, in the race he did a great job to avoid the marshals when they ran across the track. He also did a good job to finish twelfth after a disappointing qualifying.

11. Lando Norris McLaren

Lando Norris qualified twelfth. In the race he made a very long first stint from 47 laps and helped his team-mate Sainz with keeping Ricciardo and other drivers behind. Just missed out on points and finished eleventh.

10. Romain Grosjean Haas

Romain Grosjean was blocked by Gasly in Qualifying. He qualified thirteenth. But in the race it went better than for his team-mate. He had a very long stint on the soft-tires, 50 laps. He finished tenth.

9. Daniel Ricciardo Renault

Daniel Ricciardo qualified seventh in Monaco, and started sixth because of the penalty from Gasly. A good Qualifying from him. In the race he lost some time when the safety care came out. But he still managed to finish in the points.

Alexander Albon had a good qualifying this weekend. He qualified tenth. In the race he managed to finish in front of Grosjean and Ricciardo and finished eight.

7. Daniil Kvyat Toro Rosso

Daniil Kvyat had a good weekend in Monaco, he qualified in front of his team-mate. He qualified eight. And could start seventh. In the race he managed to keep his seventh place.

6. Carlos Sainz McLaren

Carlos Sainz impressed in Monaco, he made it into Q3 in qualifying. He qualified ninth. In the race he did a good job and made up a few places. He finished sixth.

5. Pierre Gasly Red Bull

Pierre Gasly blocked Grosjean in Qualifying and got a three-place grid penalty. He qualified fifth but had to start eight. In the race he couldn’t keep up with the top four but received a point for the fastest lap.

4. Max Verstappen Red Bull

Max Verstappen had a good qualification in Monaco and qualified third. In the race he almost overtook Bottas in turn 1. When the safety car came out, he pitted. Red Bull had a very quick pit-stop but then came alongside Bottas, who also pitted. Verstappen received a 5 second penalty for an unsafe release. At the end he put pressure on Hamilton, but he couldn’t overtake him. He crossed the line in second place, but finished fourth.

3. Valtteri Bottas Mercedes

Valtteri Bottas qualified second behind his team-mate Hamilton. In the race he collided with Verstappen in the pit-lane. He had damage and had to pit again, because of this he lost a place to Vettel. He finished third.

2. Sebastian Vettel Ferrari

Sebastian Vettel qualified fourth this weekend. In the race he couldn’t keep up with Hamilton and Verstappen, but he held Bottas behind. He finished second, the best result for him this season.

1. Lewis Hamilton Mercedes

Lewis Hamilton had a good weekend in Monaco. He out-qualified his team-mate and got pole-position. In the race he drove an amazing stint on the medium tires of 67 laps. He managed to keep Verstappen behind and won the race.
